Standard Job Description: You will be the Data Scientist Sr for the FORCE Operations Data/AI team. Our team is responsible for providing MFC-wide support.
What You Will Be Doing: As the Data Scientist Sr you will be responsible for turning stakeholder AI and data needs into actionable models, guiding projects from prototype through production, and maintaining existing data products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Apply AI and data‐science techniques to support manufacturing‐operations programs. Identify and execute opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into existing FORCE products. Develop and lead the team's AI strategy and partner with stakeholders to define business problems. Develop prototypes and advance them to production‐ready products. Maintain and enhance the legacy FORCE product suite.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Completed Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Computer Science, AI/Data Science/Analytics, or other Engineering discipline.
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data for descriptive/diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical needs
  • Working level experience in SQLProficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g. NumPy, Pandas)
Desired Skills: Knowledge of MLOps pipeline and modern machine learning techniquesExperience with DevOps tools: Docker, Git [GitLab, GitHub], Continuous Integration [CI], Continuous Deployment [CD]Familiarity interfacing with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)Experience with Computer Vision and other Deep Learning techniquesExperience with C++, Java, GO, and other compiled languages Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn Experience with AWS or another cloud computing platform Expertise navigating, developing, and working with EDW SAP HANA database Extensive working knowledge developing in Tableau - data models, visualizations, maintenance Experience with/in one or more of the Operations related business functions such as Prod Ops, Quality, PP&C, GSC, Engineering Strong experience in MFC ERP systems (SAP, Apriso, etc) Experience with or knowledge of data engineering and associated best practices, and software/data security considerations Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
