About the Role:
The Company is seeking a VP, Policy and Regulatory Strategy for the Latin America region. This executive will be at the forefront of leading the company's public policy, regulatory strategy, and market positioning across the Lat Am region. The successful candidate will be a key member of the global policy and corporate communications leadership team, working closely with various internal teams to drive analysis, engagement, and regulatory filings. The role requires a deep understanding of the policy, regulatory, legal, and licensing landscape in the Lat Am market, particularly in the areas of digital currencies, crypto-assets, and blockchain-based payment systems. The VP will also be responsible for tracking global policy and market acceptance of these technologies and will play a pivotal role in the company's market expansion efforts and competitive positioning. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 14 years' experience in legal, policy, regulatory, and policymaking, with a focus on emerging technology, financial services, and global markets. A proven track record of managing and leading teams, as well as technical virtuosity and relationships at the highest levels of government and regulatory bodies, is essential. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Lat Am policy and regulatory requirements, and be familiar with generative AI models. Excellent communication skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish are a must. The role demands a strategic thinker who can build coalitions with stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure the success of the company's products and services in a dynamic and evolving market environment.
