Account Manager | US IT Staffing & VMS Expert | Recruitment Delivery | Team Mentor | Client Engagement Base pay range $27.00/hr - $27.00/hr Role overview Mount and install racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, and grounding for racks, equipment, and cables. Perform testing and troubleshooting: continuity tests, volt-ohmmeter use, tone sets, and diagnosing opens, shorts, and cross pairs. Install and terminate fiber connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, MPO/MTP) for both multimode and single-mode fiber. Terminate simplex/duplex jumper cords, breakout outside plant fiber, and indoor tight-buffered multimode/single-mode fiber, including fan-out kits. Calculate end-to-end loss budgets per TIA/EIA standards for multimode and single-mode fiber. Accurately complete documentation (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, tool transfers, change orders) and handle additional assigned duties.
