Senior Software Engineer - Life Sciences

Overview As a Senior Software Engineer in the Life Sciences Data and Analytics CoE, you will build full-stack applications in a life sciences context, leveraging GenAI insights when relevant. You will deliver high-quality, scalable code and own production deployment and performance, with opportunities to apply GenAI-assisted practices. You will mentor junior engineers, drive architecture discussions, and partner with Product Owners to align roadmaps with architectural strengths. This role sits at the intersection of data, analytics, and GenAI-enabled engineering within a global, results-driven firm. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive salarycomprehensive benefits packagecontinuous learning and apprenticeship cultureglobal, diverse teammentorship and career developmentethical and integrity-focused culture Responsibilities Develop full-stack software applications in a Life Sciences context with performance and test coverage Own product deployment and production performance, incorporating GenAI-based observability when beneficial Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming Collaborate with Product Owners to align roadmaps and assess feasibility and backlog priorities Co-create engineering practices, coding standards, and testing approaches with GenAI considerations Explore architecture decisions and technology choices to remove impediments Integrate GenAI tools and prompts where they improve development, testing, and documentation Advise on GenAI-enabled processes and participate in story creation and acceptance criteria Champion continuous improvement and innovative problem-solving in a GenAI-aware environment Key requirements 5+ years of software development across the full stack Proficiency in languages/frameworks such as Java Script/Type Script, React, Angular, Vue, Java, C#,.NET, Node.js, SQL, and related databases Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Docker, Circle CI, Travis)Hands-on experience with Dev Ops, Data Ops, MLOps, containerization, and Git Hub Experience in cloud-native software design and observability in distributed systems Experience with big data and healthcare/pharma data is required or strongly preferred Strong communication skills to align teams on complex technical decisions Ability to mentor, coach, and collaborate with cross-cultural teams Promotes ethical practices and integrity in delivery Experience integrating GenAI resources, prompt engineering for software development, and GenAI-enabled frameworks is a plusstrong communicationcross-cultural collaborationadaptability in a fast-changing environmentfull-stack development Java Script/Type Script, React, Angular, Vue Java, C#,.NET, Node.js
