Job Description:
Are you a talented professional groomer who takes pride in providing exceptional care to pets? Join our supportive team in a modern, high-end veterinary environment where quality, compassion, and a great client experience are at the heart of what we do. We're looking for an experienced professional groomer who can provide high-quality grooming services while creating a calm, positive experience for every pet. You'll work alongside a veterinary team that understands how important gentle handling, clear communication, and personalized care are to pets and their families.
What You'll Do:
As a professional groomer, you'll be responsible for providing safe, timely, and quality grooming services while helping pets feel comfortable throughout their visit. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Provide professional grooming services based on each pet's needs and the owner's preferences Shampoo, wash, dry, brush, trim, clip, or shave dogs as appropriate Perform basic dental care, including brushing dogs' teeth Safely handle and calm anxious, nervous, or stressed pets Communicate with clients to understand grooming requests and provide a welcoming experience Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable grooming environment Follow company policies, safety procedures, and veterinary facility standards Work closely with theveterinary team to support the overall health, safety, and comfort of each pet Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude while delivering compassionate and professional care Help create a welcoming environment for pets, pet parents, and the entireveterinary team
Qualifications:
We're seeking a professional groomer with current hands-on grooming experience who is confident working with a variety of dogs and committed to providing excellent care. The ideal candidate will have: Previous professional groomer experience required Strong grooming skills and the ability to consistently deliver quality resultsA calm, patient presence when working with pets Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary teamA professional, dependable, and positive approach to your work The ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift dogs weighing up to 50 poundsA high school diploma or GED equivalentA commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and professional veterinary environment Why Join Us?
