About the role

Casper's Ice Cream is hiring a Director of Supply Chain to build and lead a disciplined, scalable, high-performing supply chain organization. You'll own the full picture: procurement, inventory, S&OP and demand planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. The job is to turn customer demand into an executable plan that balances cost, inventory, service, capacity, and risk. This is a senior leadership role with real influence. You'll lead a team of functional leaders and partner closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Quality, and our executive team. Casper's Ice Cream is a 100 year old Utah manufacturer that has been making ice cream treats people love for generations. As we grow, we're looking for a supply chain leader who can help us scale with the same care and quality that built our reputation.
What You'll Do: Build one integrated supply chain strategy with clear ownership, KPIs, and priorities tied to company goals Own a disciplined monthly S&OP process that improves forecast accuracy and surfaces risks early Lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and contingency planning for critical ingredients and packaging Optimize inventory and working capital across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods Drive strong OTIF performance while reducing freight costs and reliance on premium shipping Strengthen warehouse and freezer operations for safety, food safety, accuracy, and future growth Establish an executive supply chain scorecard and bring financial discipline through total-cost decision making Coach and develop the leaders of Procurement/Inventory, Logistics, S&OP, and Warehouse Operations
What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or related disciplines preferred.5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including responsibility for leaders or managers. Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing or CPG experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading multiple supply chain functions. Strong knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain analytics. Demonstrated experience managing significant supplier relationships and commercial negotiations. Strong financial and analytical capabilities. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning technology. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leaders. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
