Manager/Baker

This job was posted by https://joblink.maine.gov : For more information, please see: https://joblink.maine.gov/jobs/1368440 We are seeking a co-manager who is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient baker to assist in all aspects of our busy production bakery, preparing fresh baked items daily based on need. Responsibilities include making from-scratch cookies, pies, and other baked goods as well as at times processing our herbs and vegetables to make pesto and other canned items. We are looking for someone: - who has 1-3 years professional baking experience - is motivated, positive and forward thinker - who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude - is able to operate baking equipment, follow our recipes and instructions, wrap, label and store products according to farm policies and procedures - can lift/carry 50 pounds regularly - can maintain consistency and quality across all products - can monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs - is attentive to detail and comfortable directing others on the team, once trained.
