About the role

Tourism Office DirectorL'Office de tourisme de l'Ouest des Vosges, EPIC created in 2012, has a jurisdiction including the 69 communes of the Communauté de Communes de l'Ouest Vosgien. The "Ouest des Vosges" destination is characterized by a rich heritage and history. It is also an ideal place for leisure activities on foot or by bike with numerous existing trails as well as the European route Euro Velo 19 - La Meuse à Vélo. Mission 1-General Management of the EPIC:Manage the team of the Tourism Office (2.7 full-time equivalents + seasonal staff)Ensure administrative and financial management: HR, budget preparation, accounting (M4), prepare and present the results accounts Manage the LEADER European funding files Know the functioning of a Tourism Office in the form of an EPIC, implement and follow the decisions of the management committee, prepare the deliberations and minutes Coordinate the network of partners and work in liaison with local tourism actors and elected officials Follow and manage the tourist tax Represent the Tourism Office in institutional and/or associative bodies, on the territory with local actors 2- Continue the professionalization of the Tourism Office in the different areas of competence: Reception at the Tourism Office and outside the premises Develop commercialization Follow the labels and classifications of campsites, classification of the Tourism Office in category II3 – Ensure the following tasks / missions: Communication and promotion of the Ouest des Vosges destination (website, brochures, fairs.)Management of the intercommunal campsites of Neufchâteau* and Domremy-la-Pucelle*Follow and coordinate ongoing projects Profile The tourism code does not specify the required skills to be a director of a Tourism Office for those in the form of an EPIC. These conditions are listed in Article R. 133-12 of the Tourism Code. To complement these requirements, it is desirable that candidates: Be coordinators and forces of proposal; Have excellent interpersonal skills, good adaptability, an initiative spirit and a sense of organization and responsibilities. Master English and information and communication tools. Be rigorous. Be available in the evening and on weekends for certain meetings and representation obligations. Conditions Duration of the mission: 3-year renewable fixed-term contract / Full-time (35h)
