Tax Senior Associate, Private Client | Manhattan, NYC
Salary: $90,000–$120000,000 | Hybrid
A well-established New York accounting practice is looking for a Tax Senior Associate to join its Private Client team. This position offers exposure to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts and privately held businesses, with opportunities to develop both technical and client-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, trust, gift and estate tax returns
- Work with complex family investment structures
- Assist with tax planning, compliance and technical research
- Manage client information and engagement deadlines
- Support and mentor junior accountants
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
- Knowledge of individual and pass-through entity taxation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related disciplineCPA qualification is preferred but not essential.
