Outside Sales Representative

Job Description: Founded in 1968, Continental Signs has established itself as a leader in the signage industry, specializing in the design, production, installation, and maintenance of high-quality custom signage. From bumper stickers to large-scale signs and electronic message centers, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and customized solutions to meet our customers' needs. We are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team at our York, PA based sign shop. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting custom signage and graphics solutions, and developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include the following: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and customer outreach. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business. Meet with prospective customers to assess their signage needs and recommend appropriate products and services. Travel to customer locations and job sites for sales meetings and project consultations. Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and estimates to potential customers. Manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation, closing, and follow-up. Work toward achieving established sales goals and identifying opportunities for business growth. Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure customer expectations are met. Maintain communication with customers regarding project updates, timelines, and order details. Follow up on sales leads, outstanding quotes, and potential business opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitor offerings. Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular updates to management. Qualified candidates should possess: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Previous outside sales or B2B sales experience preferred. Experience in the signage, printing, or graphics industry is highly preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet sales goals. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. This is a full-time position with a full benefits package.
