About the role

Investor Relations Our client is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world's first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company's first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling. Portable nuclear power with rapid-deploy capability can replace similar-sized diesel generators and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Our client's unique, practical approach to nuclear development leverages modern software engineering to rapidly deliver safe, factory-built microreactors that use existing, well-qualified facts: Founded in 2020On track to test its first reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory Initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028 Raised $575M+ to date - including a new strategic investment from Lockheed Martin Ventures
Responsibilities: Build and own Radiant's Investor Relations function from the ground up, establishing the strategy, processes, programs, and operating cadence needed to support the company's continued growth. Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team to develop and communicate Radiant's investment narrative, financial story, growth strategy, and long-term value proposition. Own relationships across the investor and capital markets ecosystem, including institutional investors, equity and debt investors, analysts, bankers, and other key market participants. Lead investor communications and support quarterly and annual reporting, investor events, roadshows, presentations, and other capital markets activities. Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on investor sentiment, market dynamics, messaging, and broader capital markets cross-functionally with Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure investor communications accurately reflect company performance, strategy, and key business developments. Build and manage external relationships with consultants and advisors while maintaining direct ownership and accountability for the IR function. Operate as a hands-on individual contributor, balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day execution in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Is this you? You're a seasoned Investor Relations leader who has owned an IR function or significant portions of one, ideally at the Director, Senior Director, Head of IR, or comparable level. You have strong capital markets experience and understand both equity and debt markets, with an established network of investors, bankers, analysts, and other market participants. You've supported executive leadership through investor communications, earnings reporting, investor events, roadshows, and other high-visibility IR activities. You have experience building or significantly evolving IR programs, processes, and infrastructure rather than simply operating within an established function. You've ideally worked with a late-stage private or high-growth company and have exposure to the transition into the public markets. Direct IPO experience is valuable, but not required. You're comfortable operating with limited infrastructure and a high degree of independence—you don't need a large team or established playbook to be successful. You have strong executive presence and can translate complex financial, operational, and strategic information into a compelling investor 're both strategic and hands-on, comfortable setting the direction while personally driving the work required to get there. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and bring a builder mentality, strong sense of ownership, and bias toward action.
