Cybersecurity Analyst on the IT Infrastructure & Security team reporting to the Infrastructure & Security Manager. Targeting roughly 2–5 years of experience, ideally closer to the 5-year mark. This is a security-first, infrastructure-second role that is approximately 50% hands-on cybersecurity / 50% user engagement and IT support. The environment has no on-prem data, so the priority is someone who genuinely understands Azure/Microsoft cloud environments, rather than a data-centric security profile. Day to day includes security monitoring/incident response, vulnerability management, IAM and endpoint security, phishing/security awareness, compliance/audit support, PEN testing coordination, and jumping into help desk tickets when needed. Strong customer service is important. They want someone who will engage, educate, and support users rather than simply monitor tools behind the scenes.
Top Requirements:
• Azure/Microsoft cloud security: Strong understanding of Microsoft environments with experience across Azure/Entra ID and cloud-based identity, endpoint, email, web, and security operations.• Hands-on security tooling: Taegis, Tenable and Okta are preferred, with adjacent experience acceptable across tools such as Sentinel/Splunk/Crowd Strike, Nessus/Qualys/Rapid 7, Ping/Sail Point/Cyber Ark, Intune/Defender, Mimecast/Proofpoint, and Zscaler/Netskope/Prisma Access.• Security operations + risk: Experience with monitoring/triaging security alerts, incident response, vulnerability remediation, IAM, endpoint security, audit/compliance activities, and PEN testing support/readiness. SOC experience can vary and should not be used by itself to disqualify someone.• Communication + support mentality: Must be comfortable educating nontechnical employees on security/phishing and enthusiastically jumping into IT/help desk tickets across tiers when needed. Needs a collaborative, customer-service-oriented approach and willingness to support the broader business.
