Volunteer - Patient Visitors

Patient Visitor Volunteer Opportunity The Brooklyn Hospital Center is looking for community minded volunteers to be Patient Visitors to our in-patient community. Patient Visitors engage patients in conversation, help get comfort items such as blankets and water, they also may help feed patients who may not be able to feed themselves. Ideal Volunteer Will BeKind, patient and able to be there for patients no matter their condition. Commitment At least: 1 day or evening a week for 2 to 4 hours. Please note that all volunteer positions are unpaid positions and being a volunteer does not guarantee employment.
