About the role

Precertification Specialist The Precertification Specialist is responsible for obtaining prior authorization for all procedural orders by successfully completing the authorization process with all payers. Minimum Work Experience 2 years medical prior authorization experience preferred 2 years experience in a medical related field required Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
Required Skills:
  • Hospital or clinic experience, or training in medical terminology preferred.
  • Proficient use of CPT and ICD-10 codes
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Internet UseBasic understanding of human anatomy, specifically musculoskeletal
