We are currently seeking Energetic and Professional Sales Associates for our Outlet Center in Laurel, DE. The ideal candidates for this position are dependable, charismatic, customer-focused, and results-driven!
Please note: This position requires the ability to work weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greeting and assisting showroom customers professionally
- Recommending appropriate furniture and product options
- Explaining product features, pricing, availability, and financing options
- Building value and confidently closing sales
- Following up with customers, which includes keeping clientele informed by notifying them of future merchandise of potential interest (Wish Book).Driving revenue by consistently hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Maintaining a professional and organized showroom environment
Prepping new furniture and placing it on the floor with the help of other staff members.
Working together as an individual and team to open and close the showrooms.
Working closely with the sales team, management, warehouse, and delivery team
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous sales or customer service experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment
- Ability to follow up consistently and convert leads into sales
- Strong sense of urgency and closing ability
- Fast learner who can adapt to new products, systems, procedures, and changes
Must be dependable, energetic, professional, and have a positive attitude and work ethic.
Initiative to meet assigned sales goals, missions, and objectives.
General math and computer skills
Specialty retail experience is a plus!
Physical Demand requirements for this position include exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
Definitions:

Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
