Job Description
Steel Detailer:
- A rapidly growing steel construction company is seeking structural steel and/or miscellaneous detailer.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, erection plans and piece details for miscellaneous and structural steel
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, architects, fabricators, and installers to resolve design conflicts and ensure project accuracy.
- Incorporate revisions, RFIs, and change orders into project drawings while maintaining organized document control.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable project specifications, AISC standards, AWS welding requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in identifying potential fabrication or installation issues before production begins.
- Experience with AutoCAD required and Tekla and/or Revit preferred, but not required
