Position Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Basis Administrator to support and maintain enterprise SAP environments while contributing to strategic technology initiatives. This role will be responsible for SAP Basis administration, system monitoring, upgrades, migrations, cloud transformations, and operational support across complex SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across IT and business teams. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and support SAP environments, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and related SAP technologies. Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, patches, refreshes, system copies, migrations, and ongoing technical maintenance. Support cloud transformation initiatives, including RISE with SAP and cloud-hosted SAP environments. Manage SAP Basis activities across development, QA, testing, and production environments. Administer and support SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, monitoring, backup, recovery, and optimization. Support Windows Server environments, SQL databases, and related infrastructure components. Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and overall health to ensure reliable SAP operations. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis, database, operating system, and integration-related issues. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to deliver projects and operational improvements. Manage SAP security administration, user access, transport management, and compliance requirements. Support SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations and connectivity with external applications. Participate in disaster recovery, high‑availability, and business continuity planning initiatives. Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support standards. Support audit activities and ensure adherence to governance and compliance requirements. Participate in on‑call support rotations and production issue resolution as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of SAP Basis administration experience in enterprise environments. Strong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Basis architecture. Hands‑on experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, system copies, refreshes, and patch management. Experience administering Windows Server environments and SQL databases. Strong understanding of SAP transport management, system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience supporting cloud‑based SAP solutions, including RISE with SAP. Knowledge of SAP security, user administration, and compliance best practices. Experience integrating SAP systems with third‑party applications and enterprise platforms. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Experience supporting hybrid and cloud infrastructure environments. Knowledge of high‑availability architectures, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. SAP certifications in SAP Basis Administration, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA.
