Epic Credentialed Trainer
Location: Looking for someone in the NY/NJ area. Looking in Northern NJ, Westchester, Rockland Dutchess area.
Compensation: $65-68KMust have Epic Credentialed Trainer, Principal Trainer, Super User, or similar training experience.
Responsibilities: Deliver Epic training in classroom, virtual, one-on-one, personalization lab, and at-the-elbow environments. Facilitate training for clinical, operational, patient access, scheduling, referral, revenue cycle, and provider end users. Support new hire training, ongoing education programs, mergers and acquisitions, system upgrades, and optimization initiatives. Reinforce standardized workflows and organizational best practices. Support end users in clinical documentation, patient access, scheduling, communication management, referral coordination, and revenue cycle workflows. Monitor learner progress and support End User Proficiency Assessments (EUPAs).Provide go-live support, rounding, troubleshooting, and workflow reinforcement. Deliver ongoing optimization and efficiency education, including Thrive and refresher training programs. Assist learners with Epic navigation, workflow execution, and adoption of organizational standards. Support personalization labs, practice environments, and hands-on earning activities. Assist with workflow validation, operational readiness activities, testing, and go-live preparation. Collaborate with PTs, Training Leadership, and Application Teams to assess workflow changes and training impacts. Participate in training environment validation and readiness activities as assigned. Obtain assigned Epic Credentialed Trainer credential(s).Maintain Epic Credentialing and complete all required upgrade training, continuing education, and credential maintenance activities. Participate in cross-training activities to support multiple Epic applications and training tracks. Remain current on Epic functionality, workflow changes, organizational standards, and training best practices. Demonstrate proficiency across assigned applications and workflows. Assist with issue identification, escalation, tracking, and resolution related to training workflows. Partner with the PTs and Training Manager to identify workflow improvements, optimization opportunities, and training needs. Communicate workflow concerns and recommendations to appropriate teams. Support adoption of new workflows, enhancements, upgrades, and operational improvements. Participate in operational readiness, workflow validation, testing, and go-live support activities. Collaborate with Principal Trainers, Operational Leaders, and Training Leadership. Attend project meetings, readiness sessions, workflow reviews, and training planning activities. Maintain positive working relationships with clinical, operational, access, and revenue cycle training leadership teams. Promote accountability, professionalism, customer service, and continuous learning. Serve as a training resource and mentor for end users and peers.
Qualifications: Required High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly. Ability to travel between locations and support flexible training schedules. Preferred Experience with Epic or other electronic health record systems. Previous Epic Credentialed Trainer, Principal Trainer, Super User, or similar training experience. Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, go-lives, mergers and acquisitions, or optimization initiatives. Experience supporting clinical, operational, patient access, referral, scheduling, or revenue cycle workflows.
Working Conditions: Hybrid or onsite work, depending on organizational needs. Travel between clinic, operational, and training locations may be required. Evening and weekend work may be required during implementation, upgrade, or go-live periods. Ability to stand and present for extended periods during training sessions.
