Sterile Registered/Licensed Pharmacist

Responsibilities: Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations. Operate sonographic equipment independently and effectively. Use appropriate techniques to obtain and document diagnostic images. Evaluate sonograms and identify normal and pathological findings. Integrate patient history, medical records, and other diagnostic information when performing examinations. Communicate diagnostic information and findings to the appropriate physician. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout examinations. Assist with daily sonography laboratory operations, scheduling, and workload coordination. Maintain ultrasound equipment, work areas, supplies, and required patient/exam logs. Participate in quality assurance and laboratory accreditation activities. Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients and healthcare team members. Follow established departmental procedures and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

Qualifications: Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required. High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.0–1 year of experience operating sonographic equipment preferred. Ability to evaluate sonograms and obtain appropriate diagnostic information. Ability to integrate sonographic findings with patient history and medical records. Strong independent judgment and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work efficiently and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
