Office Engineer - Transportation Construction
Location: Rocky Hill, CT | Full-Time | On-Site
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 + Benefits
About Garg Consulting Services, Inc. Garg Consulting Services, Inc. (Garg) is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm specializing in transportation infrastructure, roadway design, and DOT projects throughout the Northeast. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Office Engineer to support major transportation construction projects in Connecticut.
Position Overview:
The Office Engineer will provide project documentation, reporting, and coordination support for transportation construction projects in Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction documentation: RFIs, RFCs, submittals, drawings, contracts, and correspondence
- Track and distribute technical documents using AASHTOWare and COMPASSPrepare daily and weekly reports, meeting minutes, and change order logs
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and clients
- Support pay estimates and schedule updates in accordance with CTDOT procedures
- Maintain audit-ready project files
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management OR NICET Level II/III in Highway or Transportation Inspection
- Minimum 6 years' experience in construction office engineering or infrastructure documentation with field inspection experienceCTDOT project experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
