Vietnamese/English Reading Coach (Remote, Contract)

Cultivating Literacy reading teachers support families in implementing our reading program at home with their children. The teacher will conduct check-ins via phone call or video call. They will work closely with our program manager to monitor and track families' success.

Experience using Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)Cultivating Literacy’s mission: We cultivate diverse family support systems through engaging play-based learning to develop students' reading confidence. Our vision is that every child will know their full potential. This position will work with our Dual-Language Individualized Literacy Plan program: Designed to help 4-7-year-old children who need further instruction and practice in reading. Children undergo a reading assessment, and results are used to craft a custom 9-week reading plan. Parents implement the plan with their children while a reading coach guides them throughout their journey. At the end of the program, children exhibit growth in early literacy skills and confidence, while parents express feeling further agency in supporting their child’s reading.
