Service Manager

About the Role: An experienced Service Operations Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy service division, managing pricing, workflow, field operations, project delivery and invoicing from initial request through to completion. The role will involve leading a small team, managing multiple active jobs and ensuring work is delivered efficiently, profitably and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare pricing, estimates and proposals for service work. Manage incoming service requests and operational workflows. Oversee scheduling priorities, technician deployment and field coordination. Track jobs through internal systems from initial intake to invoicing and closeout. Maintain accurate project documentation and client communication. Supervise technicians and monitor field performance and quality. Coordinate invoicing and ensure projects are closed out efficiently. Monitor operational performance, response times and departmental KPIs. Support ongoing commercial accounts and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications: Experience managing service operations, construction operations or field service teams. Strong estimating and pricing experience. Ability to manage multiple projects, technicians and competing priorities. Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills. Experience using service management software or CRM systems. Background in glazing, windows, façades or the wider construction industry preferred.
