Hourly Pay: $75.00 – $90.00 (DOE and licensure)

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct mental health assessments, interviews, and diagnoses for individuals in custody
  • Provide psychotherapy through individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and treatment plans
  • Participate in team conferences, case reviews, and mental health training
  • Offer consultation to staff and external agencies concerning mental health concerns
  • Support efforts to reduce recidivism and promote well-being within the correctional facility
  • What You Need
Required:
  • Active, unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in Alaska
  • Knowledge of mental health principles, DSM-V criteria, and therapeutic techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and professionalism
Preferred:
  • Previous work in correctional or institutional settings
  • Experience with behavioral health treatment and case management
  • Ability to adapt to team-oriented and fast-paced environments
