Senior Program Manager

Overview As Senior Program Manager, you will lead multiple energy efficiency programs and drive their success within a $2M+ operating budget. You’ll mentor a program team, cultivate key client and stakeholder relationships, and ensure programs meet performance and compliance goals. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on management to improve efficiency and customer service for utilities and construction customers. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for multiple programs Mentor and develop program management staff Build high-level relationships with clients and stakeholders Define staff and budget requirements to hit annual goals Manage program budgets and forecasting with finance Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements Oversee compliance with utility requirements and contract goals Manage relationships with utilities and program participants Develop tools and procedures for subcontractors and trade allies Track progress of program deliverables and report to senior leadership Prepare quarterly and annual business reviews for leadership and clients Deliver clear program messaging to customers and staff Address customer service issues promptly and prevent recurrence Support leadership in contract negotiations and continuations Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers Key requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience Proven leadership and mentoring ability Experience in strategic planning and execution Knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, standards, and regulatory frameworks Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Knowledge of building science, energy efficiency programs, sustainability, and industry standards Good relationship-building with clients and customers Experience coordinating promotional activities in the industry Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills Active listening and outcome-focused discussion planning Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel)leadershipstrategic thinkingcommunicationenergy efficiency technologiesregulatory compliance and standardsprogram budgeting and forecasting
