CDL Bus Driver

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Safely operate a school bus along designated routes, including pick-up and drop-off at school and various off-site locations for extracurricular activities. Transport students and church attendees to field trips, sporting events, retreats, and other off-campus school functions. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. Ensure the well-being and appropriate conduct of students/church attendees while on the bus, using positive discipline and communication techniques. Maintain accurate logs, including mileage, fuel usage etc. Communicate effectively and respectfully with school and church staff. Report mechanical issues, unsafe behavior, accidents, or route changes promptly to the school's facilities or administrative team. Promote Christian values through personal conduct and interactions with students, colleagues, and the school community. Participate in required safety training, in-service programs, and school-wide meetings and devotions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Minimum age: 25 years old Clean driving record with no major violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years. Ability to pass Level 2 background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening in accordance with state and school policies Prior school bus driving or commercial driving experience is preferred
