To support the HEDIS Effectiveness Data and Information Set project, the part-time Illinois Licensed Field Abstractor will perform comprehensive reviews of medical records remotely, ensuring compliance with NCQA guidelines and maintaining a low error rate in data entry.
Key responsibilities:
Schedule and review medical records at healthcare facilities while complying with established procedures
Utilize software applications to enter data and manage chase status for HEDIS operations
Participate in medical record abstraction and maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
Required qualifications:
Clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of medical terminology
Data entry and typing experience
Proficiency in PC applications, including Word and Excel
Auditing experience preferred
