About the role
To support a growing technology firm, the full-time remote Systems Engineer and Applications Architect will lead the design, implementation, and automation of enterprise cloud architecture on AWS, ensuring security and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
Architect and implement secure, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure aligned with business strategies
Collaborate on enterprise infrastructure planning and support while ensuring compliance with security standards
Design APIs and integration frameworks, and implement automation using Infrastructure as Code tools
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10-15 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform and related tools
Experience operating at a Senior, Staff, or Principal Engineer level
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship
