Employment Type: Travel Job Summary (Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant – School-Based, San Antonio, TX):- Provide speech-language therapy services to children across several schools (within west/southwest Houston area; paid travel time between locations). - Implement treatment plans and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). - Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings (without clinical interpretation). - Collect and document data to track student progress toward therapy goals. - Prepare therapy materials, maintain clinical records, and manage equipment as directed. - Communicate and collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and parents to support student success. - Assist with carry-over activities to reinforce therapy strategies in classroom and home settings. - Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communication sciences/disorders or related field, valid Texas SLPA license, bilingual (Spanish/English), school-based and special education experience, knowledge of ARD/IEP processes. - Benefits include weekly pay, day-1 health/vision/dental insurance, pet insurance, family planning benefits, life insurance, retirement plan, referral bonuses, and licensure/certification support. - Join a supportive, transparent staffing agency committed to your career growth and work-life balance.
