Cafeteria Recess Monitor Wohlwend Elementary3.5 hours daily2026-2027 School year
Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students while in the cafeteria.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Essential Job Functions include the following: Ensures the safety and security of students
- Supervises, monitors and directs the activities of students on the playground, in the cafeteria, or hallways and other common areas (outside unless extreme cold, hot, or rain/sleet/snow)
- Maintains safety and cleanliness of the cafeteria areas
- Enforces school rules and policies
- Documents disciplinary infractions and/or refers the situation to the proper administrator
- Performs minor first aid and/or refers to the school nurse.
- Performs miscellaneous clerical duties
