Social Media Guru

The Ones Who Stayed Foundation is looking for a volunteer Social Media Guru to help us grow our online presence and share our mission with the community. We're a nonprofit built to support foster youth, former foster youth, foster families, and transition-age youth through practical, relational, nonclinical support. Now we need someone who can help us tell that story online. We're looking for a creative, dependable volunteer who understands social media, knows how to make posts that people actually stop and read, and can help us build awareness around our mission, donation drives, volunteer opportunities, community events, youth support boxes, fundraising efforts, and community partnerships. This role would be great for someone who enjoys creating content, designing basic graphics or flyers, writing captions, helping schedule posts, growing social media pages, and coming up with ideas that help people connect with the mission. You don't have to be a professional marketer. You just need creativity, consistency, good judgment, and a heart for helping youth and families. Because of the population we serve, confidentiality matters. We don't post private youth information, identifying details, or anything that could harm a child, family, volunteer, or partner. We want someone who can help us share the mission while protecting the people connected to it. This is a fully remote volunteer position. You can help from home, on your own schedule, as long as communication stays consistent and the work supports the Foundation's mission. This is a chance to use your creativity for something that matters. Every post, flyer, caption, and share helps us reach donors, volunteers, community partners, and people who believe young people deserve steady support.
