Manufacturing Specialist/Forklift Operator (Powder Blending) $23/hr

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Specialist I for our powder blending facility in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating mixing and blending equipment, following precise batch instructions, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with shipping and receiving duties.

Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing & Production Interpret batch tickets to manufacture products accurately the first time. Safely operate and maintain mixing and blending equipment. Accurately document production processes, material usage, and quality control steps. Transport materials safely using hand trucks or forklifts. Maintain clean work areas and follow proper housekeeping practices. Shipping & Receiving Load and unload freight trucks, including truckload, LTL, and small parcel shipments. Inspect incoming shipments against receiving documents to ensure completeness. Prepare outbound shipments with correct labels, markings, and documentation (BOLs) in compliance with freight regulations. Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and organize stored materials in bins/racks. Safety & Compliance Strictly follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) procedures. Observe all OSHA and company safety standards for hazardous material handling.

Qualifications & Requirements: Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License required.

Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or warehouse environments preferred. Hazardous Materials: 2+ years of experience working in a hazardous material environment is a major plus. Equipment Handling: Experience operating forklifts (up to 5-ton capacity); forklift certification is a plus.

Certifications: Must be able to pass company forklift and hazardous material handling certification exams upon hire.

Key Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, reliability, and clear written/verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for up to 80% of the workday. Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to wear all required personal protective gear in a powder blending environment.\nCompany
