Working full-time during the day with hybrid eligibility, the Pre-Services Representative will verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations for services, and manage patient financial responsibilities while handling inbound and outbound calls.
Key responsibilities:
Confirm insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for services
Educate patients and guarantors about financial responsibilities and collect pre-service payments
Document patient interactions and update insurance information in the patient record for accurate billingRequired qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
No prior experience required; preferred experience with hospital authorizations and health insurance knowledge
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with payment compliance and financial assistance options
