About the role

Piping Engineer – Power Generation - TexasVerto People is recruiting a Piping Engineer to provide owner-side technical oversight on a power generation project. You’ll review piping designs, assess engineering changes and support construction teams in resolving technical issues throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities: Review piping layouts, isometric drawings and material specifications. Assess stress calculations and pipe support arrangements. Check designs for fuel gas and high-pressure piping systems. Evaluate design changes and respond to field engineering queries. Work with site teams to resolve piping installation questions. Monitor engineering deliverables against project deadlines. Verify storage and preservation requirements for piping materials.
Requirements: At least 10 years of piping engineering experience within power or process plants. Practical experience performing and reviewing pipe stress analysis. Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3. Confidence reviewing technical documentation and coordinating with site teams. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Previous owner-side engineering experience, professional engineering registration and familiarity with digital engineering documentation tools would be advantageous.
