Distill root problems from symptoms and push back when the framing isn't right. Bring a clear point of view to every decision, and defend it. Design With Depth Apply strong command of design phases, core principles, and handoff — including states, design notes, and hygiene in Figma. Experienced in design thinking and UX, with enough UI craft to execute at a high standard of detail. Balance execution work with blue-sky thinking; know when to move fast and when to go deep. Collaborate And Grow Contribute to and work within an existing design system. Support and build from user research to ground your decisions in real usage. Stay curious about AI — use it actively, form real opinions on it, and bring that thinking to the team. What You Bring 3+ years of product design experience, ideally in a B2B or fintech context. Experience owning design projects or complex features end-to-end. Familiarity with design systems — you know how to work within one and make it better. Entrepreneurial instinct — you've worked at a startup or have a genuine interest in early-stage environments. A thesis on AI and design: you're not offloading your thinking to it, but you're actively using it and forming real opinions. Strong ability to distill complex problems and communicate your reasoning clearly. Curious, probing, comfortable asking "why" — you don't take requirements at face value. Teachable and opinionated in equal measure; you update your views with new information but don't fold under pressure.
