Senior Cybersecurity Researcher

Joining the Cobalt Strike team, the full-time remote Senior Cybersecurity Researcher will conduct hands-on research into modern attacker tradecraft and collaborate with engineers to develop practical product capabilities for adversary simulation. Key responsibilitiesResearch modern adversary tactics and techniques, focusing on post-exploitation tradecraft and endpoint defenses Analyze security research and identify opportunities for product improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams Prototype and validate new techniques in controlled lab environments, producing clear documentation and recommendationsRequired qualificationsStrong experience in cybersecurity research, offensive security, or related disciplines Deep curiosity about adversary operations and security team responses Working knowledge of Windows internals and common post-exploitation concepts Experience in controlled lab environments for testing and validating technical behaviors Ability to analyze technical research and translate findings into product recommendations
