Outside Sales / Business Development Professional Are you a relationship driven sales professional who enjoys opening doors, developing new accounts and winning business? Our client is seeking an Outside Sales / Business Development professional to grow its presence throughout the Permian Basin. This is a true new business development role for someone who knows the West Texas and New Mexico oil and gas market and enjoys being out building relationships. This is not simply an account management position. We are looking for someone who is motivated by the hunt, knows how to develop relationships from the ground up and can turn those relationships into long term customers.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and generate new business throughout the Permian Basin
- Prospect, identify and open new customer accounts
- Build relationships with operators, field personnel and key decision makers
- Conduct outside sales calls and maintain an active presence in the field
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities
- Represent the company at industry and regional events
- Work closely with operations to ensure a strong customer experience
- Grow brand recognition throughout West Texas and New MexicoWhat We Are Looking For1 to 2+ years of oil and gas sales or business development experience
- Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business
- Experience within completions, frac, coiled tubing, production, drilling, workover, flowback, environmental services or related oilfield services strongly preferred
- Existing knowledge of the Permian Basin market
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Self motivated, competitive and comfortable developing business independently
- Ideally located in Midland, Odessa, Hobbs or the surrounding Permian Basin area
