Industrial Maintenance Technician Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is partnering with a Distribution Plant located in Baton Rouge, LA, Searching for skilled candidates for an Industrial Maintenance Technician role!
Pay: $17/HR | LONG TERM - TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY!
Schedule: Full?time | Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–4:00PMPrimary Duties
Assisting with clearing out back logged maintenance requests Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial equipment, electrical systems, automated machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, refrigeration & HVAC units. Material handling equipment, & Facility infrastructure Perform preventive maintenance, & document repairs & equipment issues. Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals to find and fix faults. Log completed tasks, check out replacement parts and update repair records using computerized maintenance managements systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years experience within a maintenance technician role or transferable experience
- Ability to work in an industrial style environment standing on your feet for long periods of time.
- Positive, upbeat attitude with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team?oriented
- Willingness to continue learning product lines and industry terminology
