Job Duties:
Tax Preparer Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer for a client located in the East Metro. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking for a Monday–Friday schedule with a well-established organization.
Position Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: East Metro
Pay: $23-$30/hrStart Date: ASAP
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Review financial records, income statements, deductions, and supporting documentation
- Ensure tax returns comply with applicable federal and state regulations
- Identify potential tax issues and opportunities for clients
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary tax information and documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized tax files and records
- Stay current on changes to tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Assist with other tax-related duties as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returnsStrong knowledge of federal and state tax regulationsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft OfficeAccounting, Finance, or related education is preferredMinimum Education Required Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returnsStrong knowledge of federal and state tax regulationsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft OfficeAccounting, Finance, or related education is preferredMinimum Experience Required
