About the role

Position Overview: This role involves providing obstetric care in a hospital-based setting, including routine and complicated deliveries such as C-sections, breech, VBACs, and abruptions. It requires high-risk OB skills like FHR interpretation, forceps, and laceration repair.
Responsibilities: Managing approximately 7 patients per shift, covering both low and high-risk pregnancies. Participating in 12-hour in-house call shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights. Handling around 1,295 deliveries annually. Providing comprehensive obstetric care and ensuring patient safety.
Qualifications & Skills: Proven high-risk OB expertise, including fetal heart rate interpretation, use of forceps, and laceration repair skills. Ability to manage both routine and complex obstetric cases.
