Die Shop Helper - 2nd Shift

Job Summary: We are looking for a DIESHOP HELPER that can start working right away. We will train a person to polish dies, take casts, turn stock and to operate all of our machinery.

Job Requirements: Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment. Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs. Evaluate tooling for damage and wear. Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines. Return used tooling from presses to die shop for and inspect tooling to recognize a potential problem. Evaluate and Polish dies, preparing them for next production run. Understanding of die storage system. Ability to remove and place tooling in proper and lubricate equipment. Prepare raw materials for processing. Maintain housekeeping and organize Die Shop. Assure that the quality of tooling requirements is met.

Skill Requirements: Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all times. Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace. Use various tools. (i.e., Deburring Tools, Grinders and Hand drills).English (Speaking, Reading, and Verbal Comprehension).Forklift position may require access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
