Ground System Full Stack Software Engineer (R4787)

Overview In this role you design, build, and maintain the XBat ground system, enabling robust ground control, mission planning, and communications for autonomous aircraft. You will collaborate with Aircraft Software, Hivemind, and Flight Test teams to deliver user-facing ground software that supports safe, efficient drone operations. You’ll work across disciplines to integrate components and deliver reliable tools for mission execution. This position offers the chance to shape core ground infrastructure for a pioneering platform within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Compensation / Benefits Bonus Benefits Equity Temporary benefits after 60 days Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ground system software for the XBat Platform Build ground control stations, mission planning tools, and communication interfaces Create user-facing applications to operate XBat Collaborate with Aircraft Software, Hivemind, and Flight Test teams to integrate systems Key requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field 5-10+ years of professional software development experience Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java Script/Type Script Experience building distributed systems or networked applications Experience designing and developing ground control station software for critical mission applications Experience developing user interfaces (Qt, React, or similar)Strong debugging and system integration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environment Ability to obtain security clearance Cross-functional collaboration Strong debugging and problem-solving Effective communication in a fast-paced environmentC++Python Java Script/Type Script
