Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or be in the process of obtaining licensure. Current CPR certification. Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed with an occupational therapist. Assess patient and caregiver learning needs and capabilities based on age, understanding and emotional status. Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and monitoring of patient progress. Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
