Essential Responsibilities: The following description of responsibilities to be performed is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. Records and Reporting Responsible for daily shift reports Maintain daily patient log sheet Document all information necessary for the electronic medical record accurately Complete all charges for services in electronic medical record Work with director in obtaining performance improvement data when needed Equipment Maintain equipment and operate respiratory Request repairs or replacements as necessary of equipment Maintain inventory of supplies necessary to operate department services Attend all in-services and training sessions on new equipment Clean and properly assemble equipment used in department Follow hospital infection control policies and cleaning guides Services Work closely with Physician/Providers and Nursing Staff Administer all forms of respiratory treatments safely and efficiently Responsible for charge rounds and equipment management Other Responsibilities Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department Foster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or ability

Qualifications: Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care approved by the American Medical Association Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care Current State of Minnesota Respiratory Therapist license Current BLS and ACLS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advise and work with care providers in offering optimal respiratory care Strong communication skills Strong cooperative work ethic Ability to utilize evaluations and treatment techniques in a formal standardized format or policy and procedure Ability to handle emergent patient care situations Complete job tasks consistently on a timely basis for organizational, departmental, and patient needs Utilize judgement to set priority Delegate tasks and manage time consistently in order to complete patient and departmental responsibilities Operate all respiratory equipment in a safe and competent manner
