Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address the individual needs of clients. Provide individual therapy employing specialized techniques that empower clients, promoting their personal growth and well-being. Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients and track their progress thoroughly throughout the treatment process. Facilitate teletherapy sessions, providing accessible mental health support to clients who may face mobility challenges or geographical barriers. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress to ensure compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols. Engage proactively in ongoing professional development to deepen clinical skills and stay current with emerging therapeutic trends. Patient Population / Client FocusYour role as an LMFT will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including couples, families, and individuals of all ages. A particular focus will be placed on providing culturally responsive care to underserved populations, including clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community. You'll be integral in offering therapy that meets the unique cultural and social needs of each client, creating an inclusive atmosphere conducive to healing.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is mandatory. A current LMFT license issued by the state of California is required. A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
Preferred Experience: Candidates with specialized experience working with couples, children, and adolescents are highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with therapeutic modalities that cater to marginalized communities will be viewed favorably, enhancing our ability to support a broader clientele effectively.
Compensation and Benefits: The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
