Digital Learning & Development Manager

Overview In this role you will lead the strategy and execution of Michels’ digital learning ecosystem to boost employee growth and business performance. You will manage the Learning Management System, e-learning development, content strategy, and analytics, partnering with vendors to deliver measurable value. You’ll design learner-centered, accessible digital learning experiences and drive innovation in learning technology. You’ll collaborate across functions to translate concepts into practical development opportunities and shape the future of learning at Michels. Compensation / Benefits Health, Dental, Life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Health Savings Account Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance 401(k) plan Legal Plan and Identity Theft Monitoring Responsibilities Define and drive the strategy, development, implementation and continuous improvement of the digital learning ecosystem Oversee LMS, e-learning development, instructional design, and digital content strategy Manage vendor partnerships, learning analytics, reporting, and evaluation of emerging technologies Design and develop learner-centered digital learning solutions (e-learning, microlearning, video-based, assessments)Act as primary contact for learning technology and vendors to ensure business value Analyze learning effectiveness through dashboards and analytics and inform future strategies Collaborate with L&D team, business leaders, SMEs and external partners to identify needs and scale solutions Lead digital learning initiatives from concept to implementation and evaluation Champion innovation and stay current on trends in instructional design, learning tech, AI, and talent development Key requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10+ years in L&D, Leadership Development, Instructional Design, E-Learning, Learning Technology, or related area Proven experience designing and developing end-to-end digital learning solutions Experience managing an LMS and digital learning ecosystem Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies Demonstrated leadership, priority-setting, coaching, and accountability Experience managing learning vendors and external partners Experience leading enterprise-level learning technology initiatives Experience developing learning dashboards, analytics, and reporting (preferred)Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills across all levels Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline 360 and Rise) required; Workday LMS and Synthesia experience preferredrelationship-buildingconsultative mindsetclear communication Articulate 360 (Storyline 360, Rise)Workday LMS (preferred)Synthesia (preferred)
