About the role

Overview: NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Hassenfeld Children's Hospital are seeking a full‑time academic physician to serve as Director of Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapies in the Division of Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology. The Director will lead a FACT‑accredited program, overseeing clinical, operational, research, and educational activities.
Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership of the pediatric BMT and cellular therapies program. Deliver clinical care in inpatient and ambulatory settings. Advise and mentor trainees; lead educational activities. Drive research initiatives and foster programmatic development.
Qualifications:
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology, and licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
  • Experience at the Associate Professor or Professor level preferred; academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and expertise.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range: $260,000 - $300,000 for full‑time employment, not inclusive of benefits. Actual salary may vary based on experience, training, and institutional needs.
