Job Description Job Description Job Summary Manufacturing Engineer designs, optimizes, and maintains manufacturing processes, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and at high-quality using methods such as lean manufacturing, CAD/CAM tools, and process validation. Based on our government contract, US Citizenship is required.
Key duties:
- Design and document manufacturing processes including cycle times, tooling and inspection points.
- Develop and maintain FMEAs to identify and mitigate production risks
- Lead design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews with product engineering teams
- Design and optimize production processes using methods such as machining, molding, stamping and additive manufacturing.
- Improve existing processes through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and quality standards
- Analyze workflows, space requirements and equipment placement to maximize efficiency
- Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep equipment operational
Required skills:

- Collaboration across engineering, quality, and operations teams
Qualifications:
