Controller

Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed company with multiple locations across several states. Family-built over generations, it now grows through acquisitions as well as organically. The Controller owns the accounting function and team, reports to the CFO, and has a real voice at the leadership table. This is a hands-on seat with room to build and scale the team as the company grows. What you'll own Month-end close and financial statements across multiple entities and sites Inventory accounting across locations Annual audit and financial controls Budgeting, forecasting, and cash forecasting Tax and government compliance Getting acquired businesses onto the books Leading, coaching, and growing the accounting team What you bring 8+ years in accounting, with team leadership Multi-entity, multi-site experience Inventory accounting Advanced ERP skills and strong presentation skills Bachelor's in Accounting or Business; CPA strongly preferred
