Senior Manager, Strategic Finance | AI Native Fintech | New YorkI’m working with a high-growth, AI-native fintech that is transforming the way consumers access credit and pay for essential services. The business has already reached unicorn status, backed by significant institutional investment, and has built a nationwide platform serving millions of consumers through tens of thousands of merchant locations. Their technology sits across the entire customer journey, using AI-driven decisioning, fraud prevention and personalised offers to make accessing credit faster, simpler and more transparent. They’re now looking to bring in a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to help shape the next phase of growth. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Finance, sitting at the intersection of finance, strategy and the wider business. You’ll be responsible for: • Leading financial strategy across new and existing products and business lines • Evaluating pricing, ROI, payback and capital allocation decisions • Building board materials, fundraising analysis and senior leadership reporting • Partnering with commercial teams to build scalable, driver-based revenue models • Supporting M&A, new market expansion and investment decisions • Helping develop the data, modelling and tooling infrastructure behind Strategic Finance What they’re looking for: • 6–8 years’ experience across Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting or Private Equity • Exceptional financial modelling and scenario analysis skills • Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations • Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leadership • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills • Deep experience with balance sheet lending / consumer credit is essential💰 $165K–$195K base + equity📍 New York | HybridThis is a particularly strong opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional FP&A and take on genuine ownership of strategic decisions across a rapidly scaling fintech.
