Role: MDR – Packaging Engineer II
Location: Lafayette, CO – 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 Months
Experience: 3+ years: Medical Devices / Medical Surgical Products
We are looking for a Packaging Engineer II to support packaging development, validation, and manufacturing activities for medical surgical products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute packaging validation protocols and reports in compliance with ISO 11607 and ASTM standards.
Design, develop, and test packaging systems for medical device products.
Identify and lead packaging cost-reduction initiatives.
Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams on packaging systems and machinery.
Support packaging changes, documentation, GMP activities, and manufacturing projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of packaging engineering experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
Experience with packaging validation, ISO 11607, and ASTM standards.
Knowledge of packaging systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
